Growing up isn't exactly as easy as it used to be, and kids have to keep a busy schedule. Maybe a high-tech PDA for kids with a digital camera can help?
What's a poor kid to do? If the little toddler is swamped with appointments and has a hefty schedule -- while poor mom and dad can hardly get by without their PDAs -- there's only solution: Get the toddler a PDA too. Kessel Electronics' new W.A.V.E. Link PDA should be perfect for kids with a busy schedule, and it's even equipped with a digital camera. Who wants to bet how long it takes before it's smashed against the ground? Anyone?
 | | The W.A.V.E. Link PDA could help your kids organize their schedule - or cheat at exams | The W.A.V.E. Link is capable of wirelessly transmitting audio, video and e-mail at distances up to 1,000 feet - or close to 350 meters. According to the manufacturer, new software-compression technology enables users to take a digital picture (with the built-in camera), and beam it across school, the mall, down the street... anywhere kids hang out.
The toddler PDA boasts a wide range of features, such as an address book, a calendar, e-mail access, a calculator and a to-do list. It's controlled through the touch screen, and runs a proprietary OS on an 18 MHz processor with 2 MB RAM. There's an internal voice microphone and a speaker, and the display has a resolution of 160 x 160 pixels with 16 levels of grayscale.
Available in three color configurations; electric blue, laser lime and pink pizzazz, the nifty little PDA uses 3 AAA batteries which will keep it going for approximately a month providing normal usage. We have only one question: How do you describe what's normal usage for a kid?
