The public beta 3 version of TextMaker for Pocket PCs is now available as a free download from SoftMaker's website effective immediately. A fully fledged alternative to Pocket Word, TextMaker will when launched provide support for native Word documents in .DOC format, including graphics, footnotes, tables, character and paragraph formatting as well as a glossary and spell checker. The full commercial version is expected to be available in December 2002.
