First, French software house Ubi Soft brought Rayman to Pocket PCs - and now they're at it again, with a direct port the very first Playstation original; Rayman Ultimate!
If there's one name early Playstation fans know, it's Rayman. The bubbly-shaped little superhero became a smash hit on the platform from early on, and various games based on the character has to date sold over 9 million games. Although such quantities aren't common on the Pocket PC platform, that doesn't seem to bother Ubi Soft much since the company now has ported the original Rayman game from Playstation in its entirety; meet Rayman Ultimate for Pocket PCs.
Rayman Ultimate offers 6 different worlds to explore, containing a total of 60 original levels and providing an incredible variety in terms of graphic environment and gameplay. As if that wasn't enough, Ubi Soft promises you won't be able to complete the game in less than 60 hours.

Players have to explore each level to free the Electoons that have been captured by Mr. Dark, and fight all of his evil creatures along the way. Friends of Rayman will up his powers along the way, including the power to throw his fist, grab platforms above him, make huge jumps with his helicopter-style ears - and finally, the power to hook onto rails.
Scheduled for availability on September 26, information about what price the game will sell at is unfortunately not available as of yet.
