Xen Games' fast-paced 3D space combat hit, Interstellar Flames, has been ported to Microsoft's Smartphone 2002 platform, and is to be available - well, when devices are.
Given the code base similarities between Microsoft's Pocket PC platform and Smartphone 2002 platform - both run on Windows CE as their underlying operating system - there is little doubt that a number of applications will be ported once devices running on SMP 2002 are available. In fact, a few applications and games have already been ported, and Interstellar Flames from Xen Games has joined the for-now exclusive club.
When available, the game will have the same features as the Pocket PC version, including fast-paced 3D graphics and gameplay with several advanced 3D effects and a slightly altered notification system. The price for the Smartphone 2002 version of Interstellar Flames is expected by Xen Games to land at $7.99 USD, but this has not been finally decided as of yet.
