HandStory, a popular Palm OS application that functions as a PalmDoc reader, image viewer, HTML viewer, and memopad replacement, has been updated to version 2.2, which now includes the ability to download web clips directly onto the device through a wireless connection. Like many Palm OS HTML applications, HandStory works by taking snapshots of a web site and compressing them to a small, fast proprietary format that can be loaded onto a Palm OS device. The new version includes support for downloading pre-packaged Clips directly to the device from HandStory's server over the Internet, if the device is equipped with an Internet connection. Version 2.2 also includes support for the HighRes+ screen on the Sony CLIE NR-series and various other minor updates. The program costs $19.95 USD for new users, and is a free upgrade for current HandStory 2.x users. 1.x users will need to pay $5 USD for an upgrade.">
