Anthropics Technologies, the London-based developer of 3G-like visual messaging services for mobile networks yesterday announced that it has developed a new player for the Symbian OS, enabling unique images of "talking heads" to be displayed on the next generation of mobile phones. The Anthropics Symbian Player will enable consumers to develop and send their own FaceWave video messages which animate still photos with text or speech, to create life-like 'talking heads' - on the next generation of phones developed on the Symbian OS. Unlike other multimedia messaging applications, Anthropics' FaceWave technology will produce high quality images over very low bandwidth, using low processing power, claims the company.">
