Nokia looks to cars - infoSync World

Nokia and German Volkswagen have announced that the two companies are expanding their cooperation for mobile communications solutions for cars. Nokia's solutions are compatible with several generations of mobile phones and tailored to existing and future automobiles. Nokia's general manager of Nokia Smart Traffic Products believes that by 2005, every 4th new car will feature mobile communication technologies, and combined with the number of cars that are fitted with such solutions after shipment, 40% of the cars on the road will be mobile.">

Finnish Nokia and German Volkswagen have announced that the two companies are expanding their cooperation for mobile communications solutions for cars. Nokia's solutions are compatible with several generations of mobile phones and tailored to existing and future automobiles. Nokia's general manager of Nokia Smart Traffic Products believes that by 2005, every 4th new car will feature mobile communication technologies, and combined with the number of cars that are fitted with such solutions after shipment, 40% of the cars on the road will be mobile.
