Openwave Systems and Nokia today announced a comprehensive testing program to confirm interoperability between Openwave's MMS Client, MMS Server, and its WAP Gateway and Nokia's multimedia messaging (MMS) enabled handsets such as the Nokia 7650 imaging phone, and the Nokia MMS server solution. Interoperability testing is designed to result in a seamless user experience independent of the network or the handset used, and enable operators to quickly provide compatible MMS services for their customers. The testing resulting in interoperability between the MMS offerings of both companies is anticipated before first full customer shipments.">
