The new Sony Vaio P 2010 model will hit store shelves next month, offering several upgrades to the original Vaio P netbook design.
Sony recently unveiled its Sony Vaio P 2010 model, boasting a range of upgrades to its high-end netbook. The new model will be available for sale starting June 8 for approximately $800. The 8-inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1600 by 768 pixels has been retained, but a new built-in accelerometer lets users quickly switch between landscape and portrait Web browsing.
The new Sony Vaio P can also be configured with a 2GHz Intel Atom Z550 processor. Design-wise, the new Sony Vaio P offers a more streamlined, curved exterior, as well as a touch pad built into the LCD bezel and new hardware shortcut buttons.
