Opera Software has posted a demonstration of the Opera Mini 5 running on the iPhone. Using New York Times to compare the browsing experience to Apple's iPhone Safari browser, the server-side compression technology utilized by the Opera Mini 5 proves that there no longer need to be "iPhone sites" for those who want to fetch information quickly - if Apple accepts the application, of course.
