Samsung E60 e-reader Explained and Video PreviewedBy Mike Perlman, 9 March 2010
We got a glimpse of the Samsung E60 e-reader's best features at the Samsung 3D Wonder event. Check out our hands-on video tour.

What's wrong with writing in books? Well, if you use a pen it's permanent, and if you use a pencil, you end up erasing actual text. The Samsung E60 e-reader obliterates those issues with the addition of a stylus and the ability to add memo notes. We could write on each "page" and search for what we wrote, and we even scored music using the music chart background.

Samsung's E60 e-reader also enables readers to use the dictionary and listen to music while reading with headphones or using external speakers. With a removable battery that lasts up to 3,000 page turns on a full charge, slide-out design, MicroSD card slot, and support from Barnes and Noble, the Samsung E60 just might be using the Kindle for kindling.

Price and release date

The Samsung E60 e-reader is set to ship March 18th for $299.
