A Google employee has revealed the release date for the upcoming Nexus One for Verizon Wireless, corresponding with CTIA Spring in late March.
Neowin reports that a version of the Nexus One supporting Verizon Wireless will be available through Google's new Android Store on March 23. A Google employee is the source of this release date, which corresponds with the first day of CTIA Spring.
Google decided to use the CES buzz for the introduction of the original Nexus One with T-Mobile support, and it looks like the company will use the CTIA buzz to spread the word about the introduction of the Verizon Wireless version.
We assume the Nexus One for Verizon Wireless will be priced equally to the original Nexus One, meaning that it should primarily come down to the network of your choice when purchasing this phone.
According to Telegraph, Google's new Android store will soon also see the introduction of a Nexus One for Vodafone in Europe. Recently we also wondered if the new HTC Legend will be sold through Google's store, which according to HTC should be available through a direct sales channel later this spring. All in all, it looks like Google's Android Store will expand its offering rapidly this spring.
