The HTC HD Mini, one of the first smartphones to take advantage of capacitive touchscreen support in Windows Mobile 6.5.3, may hit store shelves in April.
The HTC HD Mini has now been made official, a down-sized version of the HTC HD2. The phone features a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g connectivity. The HTC HD Mini is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 and HTC Sense UI. The smartphone also offers Facebook integration as well as the Opera Mobile browser.
Other key features of the HTC HD Mini is a 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB port, Bluetooth 2.1 as well as a microSD memory slot. The phone will operate on Quadband GSM and 900/2100 MHz HSPA networks, with the latter theoretically offering 7.2 Mbps download speeds and 2 Mbps upload speeds.
