The Dell Mini 5 will be Dell's second Android smartphone, boasting a 5-inch touchscreen and a SIM card slot. It could also be AT&T's second Dell smartphone.

If you remember the leaks of the Dell Streak last year, it's worth knowing that Dell showcased this device during CES. According to Pocket-lint, the device sports a SIM card slot and will be marketed as the Dell Mini 5. With the recent AT&T announcement of supporting Android, there's a good chance we'll see the Dell Mini 5 joining the Mini 3 on AT&T Wireless later this year.

Interestingly, the Dell Mini 5 will be available in several colors including pink, black and red. That would make it the first high-end Android smartphone to be offered in more than just the usual few mainstream colors.

According to Pocket-lint, the Dell Mini 5 will also boast a multi-touch display, though the demo units were only running Android 1.6. There's obviously hope that Dell will offer some software that takes advantage of multi-touch, but it remains to be seen whether that will actually happen. For the time being, it seems like the European versions of Android phones are the only ones to get multi-touch software out-of-box.

Anyway, we recommend checking out Pocket-lint's hands-on gallery of the Dell Mini 5 here.
