Samsung today officially announced its newest Android-powered smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Spica (I5700). The smartphone offers seamless connectivity, highlighted by access to Google mobile services and easy connection to social network sites like Facebook and MySpace.
The Samsung Galaxy Spica promises fast and powerful performance courtesy of a 800 MHz application processor. Additionally it's the first Android smartphone to support DivX files, eliminating the hassle of file format conversions. The Samsung Galaxy Spica also sports DNSe 2.0 for better sound quality and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Samsung Galaxy Spica supports the full suite of Google services, including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and Google Talk.
The Samsung Galaxy Spica is available immediately in Europe and will arrive in other markets later on.
