According to SE-Blog, Sony Ericsson recently launched a teaser page for an event called Infinity to be held on November 3rd. While the page has been slightly changed since the launch, a tracker to the manufacturer's home page reveals that Sony Ericsson's Infinity event could be related to the Sony Ericsson Rachael.
The exact specifications of the Sony Ericsson Rachael are still unconfirmed by the company itself, but according to leaks, it should be powered by Android 2.0 and XPERIA Panel technology. It's also said to be hiding a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor under its hood, while a 4-inch WVGA screen will likely respond to multi-touch gestures.
Sony Ericsson's new Android smartphone is also supposed to boast a 8-megapixel camera, hopefully with Cyber-shot technology. Based on the XPERIA experience so far, we also assume that the Sony Ericsson Rachael will offer a custom-built media playback experience, and perhaps also giving gaming possibilities on Android a boost.
Although the Sony Ericsson Rachael will likely be announced on November 3, it's difficult to say for sure when an actual release will happen. Sony Ericsson often announces hot phones up to a half year in advance, but we'll get to the bottom of this when the time is ready.
