What will you get if you combine the Blitz and the Intrigue, and then add a little twist? The Nokia Twist, a phone with a unique square shape that swivels open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard.
The Nokia Twist also sports shortcut buttons to messaging, a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, Web browsing, V Cast Music with Rhapsody, voice commands and speakerphone options. The phone will also come with Xpress-on covers in black and purple.
The Nokia Twist will offer threaded messaging and a "Post to Blogs" feature which allows multimedia to be posted to a blog or social networking site. Like the Intrigue, the Nokia Twist also includes a Habitat mode that aims to give you a better overview of your recent call and messaging history etc. Sony Ericsson has been a pioneer in that regard, and we like it when management on cell phones is slightly "smarter" than usual.
The Nokia Twist will be available on September 13, selling for $100 after a $50 mail-in rebate. We'll post a full review of the Nokia Twist soon, but in the meantime you'll find specifications here.
