The latest and greatest TouchFLO 3D phone powered by Windows Mobile, the HTC Touch Pro 2, will arrive in Verizon Wireless stores tomorrow.
We've reviewed three versions of the HTC Touch Pro 2 this summer, including the unlocked, T-Mobile and Sprint versions. Starting tomorrow, Verizon Wireless customers will be getting their own version of the smartphone.
All our reviews so far have found a very capable phone, though HTC's own TouchFLO 3D interface/package is the star of the show as far as finger-control is concerned. The Touch Pro 2 is in theory capable of running Windows Mobile 6.5 though, so there's a chance that TP2 customers will eventually get a free upgrade that extends the finger optimization beyond TouchFLO 3D.
We'll post a full review of the Touch Pro 2 for Verizon Wireless soon. In the meantime, check out a photo and specifications of the phone here, revealing a heavy hitter in Verizon's smartphone lineup.
