The new Pioneer Elite BDP-23FD Blu-ray player boasts new playback enhancements as well as built-in memory for BD-Live content. New mid-range and entry-level models are also available now.
Three new Blu-ray players are now available from Pioneer, including the Pioneer Elite BDP-23FD, Pioneer BDP-120 and Pioneer BDP-320. Each player incorporates expandable and built-in memory options which allow owners to take advantage of supplemental BD-Live content.
The Pioneer Elite BDP-23FD boasts features such as KURO Link Picture Mode and Precision Quartz Lock System Multi (PQLS), designed to be used with Pioneer's A/V receivers and KURO flat panel displays. The player offers 1GB of internal on-board memory as well as an integrated USB port for use with compatible flash drives and hard disk drives. The Pioneer Elite BDP-23FD is available now for $600 (see all features below).
The Pioneer BDP-320 model features 48-bit Deep Color Support, three Video Noise Reduction Circuits and a Picture Control Suite offering 13 image adjustment capabilities. Like the BDP-23FD, the Blu-ray player incorporates 1GB of memory and an USB port. It's available immediately for $400. The entry-level Pioneer BDP-120 skips internal memory, but is now available with an integrated USB port for $300.
