A romantic and generalized picture is being painted around smartphones nowadays, but the best AT&T smartphones are offering diversity in terms of both functionality and price.
All the popular platforms, except for the new Palm WebOS and Google Android platforms, are currently being represented in AT&T's smartphone lineup, and AT&T will perhaps be the first U.S. carrier to release a HTC Touch Pro 2 powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 in the second half of 2009. Additionally, Palm hopes that AT&T will pick up the Palm Pre powered by WebOS sometime in 2010. If we dig a little deeper, AT&T certainly has room for improvement in its smartphone lineup, but with increased competition we guess that could lead to even better smartphone solutions in the future.
